Do you have a hoarding problem? How can you tell? I certainly didn’t think I did until recently. So finally, watch me overcome the mental obstacles on camera to allow me to ditch all these items I’ve been holding on for years. This was a difficult video for me and I can only throw away 10 year old things so many times. I wish for you to see the steps I take and learn from them. Use them in your life to help yourself remove these objects from you life that clouds your mind.
Perhaps there might be a chance where the magazine could be like super duper rare if you keep it for like a hundred years then yeah maybe you know oh be worth something but generally i think the cost of having it around it’s way too much so here’s an interesting thing for awhile i got some socks out or ankle length over here and after trying it i’m like oh yeah
You know i liked it for a while and then after i realize that it’s not something that’s for me but i kept them around you know like thinking that oh i can just use them you know when i run out of other kind of socks but i realized that wow every single time i wear it it just annoys the heck out of me i feel like if i get rid of them then it won’t even be within
Reach even if i run out of socks i would rather you know just deal with it and not have backups where you know i basically have to wear these inferior socks so for this time you’re gonna have to take my word for it that i’m going to be donating these i have this scarf the i dread to wear mainly because it’s made out of wool and i do wear scarfs i wear other kinds
But this one in particular when you when i put it on it just you know it just makes me itch so i’m they’re never gonna wear this so i’m gonna donate this as well i have this old cd player that has sentimental value because i used it for a really really long time i used it recently and i realized i hey how come the audio um there would be trumpets playing normally
But then through this thing somehow you can’t hear the trumpet it’s like kind of muffled so because of that i think i have to recycle this and to show that i am going to recycle it i have to break it beyond repair so here we go yeah it’s hard to do i want to break that see the radio still works but the cd does not people have mp3 players these days that won’t skip
Because this thing has some sort of skip protection oh this is really funny is this gonna be some sort of antique later on i don’t think so but the deal here is that i need to get rid of stuff anything that lays around that takes up space this thing has a finite amount of weight okay if you multiply this by hundred hundred tiny little things i let slip through then
It’s going to be super duper heavy so i have to get rid of this so here we go it’s broken right i feel like i feel like i need to break it in order to throw it away or else um after i toss it in the trash i might regret and then i’ll run back and and kind of go oh just kidding i’m gonna i’m gonna take it back i want it back there you go no way back now i think yeah
Okay so do you guys keep business cards i have a lot of business cards here i look through some of them i kept some of them already very very few maybe like ten or twenty of them that i wanted but you see i have this huge stack over here that basically i have not contacted or don’t really care to contact in the future so these are basically useless to me now i’m
Gonna just shred them i’ve actually kept these very cards in my drawer for the past at least ten years they just keep on piling up and i cannot believe all in one go i’m getting rid of so much stuff all in one go like this crazy and i don’t know it’s getting a bit addicting this is hard for me i think the cd player was know was the heart open look at it these are
All the little cashback thing i write cheat sheet for my credit cards i kind of saved each one of these i don’t know why because they’re not useful anymore so i kept them i don’t know why okay get rid of those something that’s really hard for me i have this lightning cable that frayed a little bit over here and i used it for quite some time after even though it
Was a little frayed but afterwards i’m like i don’t want to use it but somehow with me not using it i still kind of rolled it up and just put it aside somewhere but i probably not using it because i was afraid that i don’t know something might short out it’ll kill your phone or something so why would i keep this around i might disassemble it or something to show you
Guys what’s inside but i did a video like that before for a different cable not an apple branded one already so i probably don’t need to do this anymore so i’m going to just snip this yeah okay yeah is that enough how about a couple couple of spots so there you go i kept this cable for a good six months even though after it’s frayed already so i don’t know this is

A different set of earphones where you just plug in and then there’s a mic that attached to the cable so you can listen and it has a mic along with it and i almost feel like the computers these days don’t support mics like these anymore people people don’t buy these anymore people like by headsets bluetooth headsets or something with with a mic attached all in one
Single plug so in any case i struggle to throw this one away even though it’s broken right here you see i even have two of them they’re discolored a bit and why do i have them i i don’t know i i have another pair already that has the the plug-in headset and mic and on top of that i have a set of bluetooth wireless ones that has a mic on those already so i should
Get rid of this or should i sell it i don’t think anyone would buy it so this is this is probably not going to be worth my time this is hard because i think maybe i can sell this for i don’t know a couple dollars how do i let go of this on camera well i can cut it and beyond repair and break it that so this is really gone this one on so as opposed to destroying
Stuff and getting rid of them finally forever i have over here something i sold on ebay for eight dollars like i said i feel like this is the minimum for the work i have to put in i just had to list it and boom you know someone buys it buy it now and i just put it in an envelope this goes off after i calculate paypal fees ebay fees shipping fees three kinds of fees
Here $8 – all of that is about $4 so you know right there and i still have to like deliver it somewhere close by so this video as you may imagine is really hard for me to do especially because you know you look at the setting here it’s like oh it’s nice and clean but you know i guess deep down i have all this other stuff and i’ve been actively trying to get rid of
It that’s why i’m like oh yeah i’m like selling stuff and i’m you know getting rid of stuff at a pretty good pace but you just can’t get rid of like you know a boom full of stuff all that quickly you need to just throw some stuff some of it away i hope this was useful for those of you that have a hard time getting rid of stuff this video you know me just kind of
