Well 17 years in the cannabis space started in the hobbyist hydroponic market as a sales rep ultimately launched a lighting company called quantum horticulture built that put a million grow lights into the global market and through some mergers and acquisitions ended up becoming the third or fourth largest manufacturer and distributor of hydroponic equipment in
The united states 60 plus million in revenue sold off and went sentricon consulting and have been designing building and overseeing construction of some of the largest licensed producers globally canada new zealand greece and the us for the last five years that’s really impressive how do you see your role evolving with the company in the future well as chemistry

That we’re expanding into california great can’t wait to see more about this product it’s exciting yeah it’s wonderful things sheldon with the recent closure of the desert hot springs deal in california explain to us how the acquisition will push the sugar leaf brand forward well as you see sugar leafs going to migrate from washington into the california market
So we’ll be a multi-state operator with a contiguous brand across multiple states in the california market we’re building a monstrosity of a greenhouse down there’s 68 thousand square feet phase 1 68 thousand square feet phase 2 and then a manufacturing and distribution center all on one vertically integrated property so what you’ll see is sugar leaf entering
The california market in a very large scale with statewide distribution wow that sounds impressive it will be carl aside from washington and california what other markets do you have your eyes on for chemistry well we’re a expansion and focused company through acquisition and partnership we’re currently very focused on the midwest in the united states and moving
Into the eastern seaboard but we think there’s a huge amount of opportunity in california as well absolutely california is a huge market carl with the cbd on the rise this chemistry have plans to enter this lucrative market well we’ve focused on analyzing the cbd market quite extensively across the united states there’s a number of points where you can enter it
We’ve dialed it down to about two places that we like and we have a number of things we’re working on in the cbd space right now and unfortunately that’s about all i can say hey you know what that’s enough that’s exciting being in the cbd space is the right place to be at the right time yeah it’s a huge market karl what our chemistry’s main competitors and what
Sets you apart from your competition well i mean obviously chemistry is in a very competitive business the cannabis space has been tremendously well financed in the past thirty four years and we see our competition being companies of our size right up to the majors what sets us apart really is our people people like sheldon people like nico that we’ve just welcomed
To our board of directors these guys are seasoned industry veterans that you can’t we can’t replace for for money you’ve got to know them and they’ve got to want to come and work with you and that’s been a tremendous asset of ours and we’ll be going forward if there’s one thing you want shareholders to know about chemistry what would it be one thing i want people
