But then forget any given product there’s always a reason that you should actually buy of course people tend to buy a lot more than they actually need for me i probably do not need to buy a massager like this because i already have one and i certainly will not go out and buy one but because they sent this to me for free i’m just reviewing it now my channel is not
Unlike all the other channels it is advertiser supported now i get average revenue from youtube i get sponsorship content without advertisers you got to understand that this channel will not exist because there will be very few people that would actually join in and make videos when there’s no monetary gains to it even sometimes their channels that cannot monetize
They often ask the subscribers to you know contribute to their patreon or whatnot so that they can you know pay the bills because it takes real effort it takes hours of time or more to make each video so it takes away from you know your day time you know from your day job or even to you know produce content now when you look at my videos i want to do a recommendation
Of how to use them because often times i would show you products i would talk about certain kind of services and then i may or may not outright recommend them within the video now when i do highly highly recommend something advertisers generally cannot pay me to outright say the words i recommend so and so so whenever you hear me say i recommend so-and-so it’s just
Out of my own doing now sometimes i might have bought something with my own money now this is when a company did not send me the product for free i went out onto the market bought it myself then i did the review in those cases you wouldn’t know about it because i would go you know i bought this myself and i would not say so and so company sent this to me for free
And i would not say this is sponsored by so-and-so now just because it’s a sponsored content or it’s a sponsored product like this does not mean i would absolutely not recommend it it just means that there is a slight possibility for conflict of interest if you’re ever in doubt what my opinions are just shoot me a comment in the comment section i usually respond
To those things or send me an email send me a message on facebook send me a tweet you can contact me through patreon i have a lot of different ways where you can just kind of follow up on a video and then go you know did you really recommend this what do you what are your opinions you can even ask me how i feel about a certain product you know several months after
I did the review sometimes after i use a product for a long time i might discover something new maybe something broke and i will use some products for you know a long duration afterwards sometimes i would actually get paid a monetary compensation in order to cover the product over beyond the cost of the product itself now just because i get the product for free
And that i’m not getting paid to review the product does not mean there’s no conflict of interest there because when you get a product for free generally people are inclined to give it a really good review just so that they can possibly in the future get more products because if you get more product it’s sorta like an indirect monetary gain now if you go on amazon
You see a lot of this happening sometimes when you look at reviews on these products you might not know if the reviewer actually got that product for free or if they got paid in order to get that product and then review it just from my own speculation and sometimes using products that are a little inferior than what i would expect it to be from the star rating
I can feel that you know some products are over inflated sometimes it might be half a star to one-and-a-half star over what it should really have been rated or what i would rate that product now when it’s an outright sponsored content the advertisers pay a monetary sum to me to cover this product sometimes i have the leeway of talking about the product in depth
Positive and negative and this is allowed sometimes other times so the sponsored content is a lot more strict the advertisers want to give you you know a certain sum and then they go okay you must cover this and this and this point they never actually outright say oh you cannot say anything bad about it but if you do sometimes they like to review a video before
It is released and i’ve seen this a lot and generally the way i mostly like to work is i want to get paid for the content and then i want to make the video and they have no sort of like vetoing power so generally i would request payment to make to be made upfront generally i would make the content in good faith but usually if there’s something bad about it i
Put a little warning within the video and sometimes advertisers would not like this but i’ve structured it in such a way where i get payment upfront so that they’re not holding the payment hostage so that i have to change something about a video generally i want to you know just put everything i think about it in a video make the video and basically i would not
Change anything unless there are factual errors now opinion wise i would not ever change sometimes channels will have their own product i personally do not have my own product just yet but some channels they would sell their ebooks they would sell their own digital course or maybe they would sell a financial maker or uber course now of course to advertise your own
Product it’s a huge conflict of interest because of course you’re gonna go my product is the best you know it’s a proven thing it always works you know like everything that you hear from the person trying to sell you their own product it’s always going to be all positive they’re never going to say don’t buy it you know any kind of negative things so if you want a
True opinion on this you have to look somewhere else where they’re not actually getting for recommending it sometimes i would cover stocks and bitcoin and generally you need to disclose how you’re getting paid for recommending them now for stock holdings i would generally say oh yeah you know i’m buying this i have holding in this in the beginning or whatnot and
For bitcoin i have to say oh if you sign up for a certain link i do get paid i think some celebrities recommended some cryptocurrencies before and they indirectly get paid for this and i think the fcc you know they don’t like hearing about this because as a celebrity or as someone on youtube where there’s some sort of influencing power here this influencing power
Is converted to money basically for people that goes oh you know they hear about something and then they join into it then of course if you sign up through some links that i have in the video description then this channel benefits in a way showing you products and services is a form of advertisement showing you this massager is a form of advertisement now if you
Look at enough ads on tv you’ll kind of start to realize that the more ads that you see the more chances that you’re gonna end up buying said item you might think that it’s not affecting you at all because you’re like oh you know it’s just an appearance but you have to think about you know you see these things here now these are not intentional these are actually
My things but you seeing these peas okay a lot of people enjoy these peas they like the happy face i like them too but a lot of people ask me where you get these peas i do have an amazon store so if you go on in my amazon store and because of repeatedly looking at these peas you end up buying these peas through my store then i benefit the way advertisement works
Is that of course it’s not going to be like 100 percent effective but over you know ten thousand views of this video someone someone out there one of you out there is gonna look at this massager and then go wow you know that’s pretty neat i really like this the it’s nice and compact i can move it every which way like this and i bet you someone out there is gonna
End up buying this massager this is how a lot of channels work via the pre-rolls of this video where you see an ad right before this video which is how this channel gets paid in multiple different ways if you buy the piece this channel gets paid if you buy this thing this channel gets paid if you watch to add this channel gets paid but i’m hoping that the content
I produce for outweighs how much each person needs to pay in order to buy certain items certain people are more resilient to advertisement so therefore you might be watching this channel this whole time for years and years and you wouldn’t buy a thing you might have watched ads in full and help this channel but there’s probably a percentage of people that actually
Did not buy anything i mean for me if i watch a whole bunch of channels i watch a whole bunch of ads it’s generally does not make me buy stuff i like to think that but i actually know that advertisement do affect me as well now i do hope that you guys keep on watching this channel of course and that these videos gives you a positive net effect where the savings
