Um yeah absolutely i mean um well a bit about myself well obviously i’m the chief commercial officer um at kinesis money i’ve been you know with kinesis money now for four years with kinesis money abx group um so we’re a group of companies um originally kinesis started off in the precious metals uh exchange institutional exchange they’re still running abx been
Around for about 10 years um and kinesis was born from the abx um into the more sort of digital fintech banking sort of facing space of precious metals and i joined the company uh right down at the founding stages of kinesis back in 2000 i believe yeah time flies when you’re having fun and uh back in 2018 and i’ve been here ever since right the way from
You know capital raising all the way up to product launch and and here we are now you know coming up to almost you know four years um and you know we’re through all of that we have a really really you know stable product with a great customer base some great numbers which i’m sure we’ll get into um in a little bit fantastic now can you tell us what your main
Goals are for kinesis money in 2022 sure i mean kinesis is really really unique in the sense that we have um we have a very very unique model where we give away or we distribute yields to our users based on the transactional revenue of the company so we’re unique because we have this this you know trade volume that’s going on we have a lot of ways that people
Can actually interact with precious metals like typically you know you have um the precious metals industry somebody wants to park their money in one of the safest stores of value gold um or precious metals in general they want to park their money in metal you sort of lock it up there is a charge for that and then you know what it what do you do you’ve got it
Sitting in a vault you know your money’s safe but you can’t really interact with us so you know kinesis really provides and brings utility to precious metals um allows people to park their money in a safe digital version of their their gold it’s fully backed one to one you can redeem it you can interact with it like normal metal but if it’s it’s brought onto
A digital interface so you can trade it spend it send it do all sorts of interesting things um and what this does is stimulates trade volume uh and transactional volume which in turn creates a massive fee pool which we share so we’re able to you know distribute yields back so 2022 the focus will be to really roll out the last components of our yield engine
It’s a very bespoke blockchain-based yield engine um we’ve already rolled out two components with the third component coming on this month so it’ll be really focusing on getting that yield engine fully fully released and then obviously starting to work towards the more banking side of kinesis where our global virtual and physical debit card programs will come
Online and allow people to not only interact and receive yields but spend their physical precious metals and crypto um just like normal money every day money just tapping it on the card some really unique technology that allows us to you know at the top at the point of sale um your transaction of metal and crypto will happen instantaneously in the backgrounds
There’s no converting or messing about it’s just you’ve got your portfolio you can just use it just like normal money so these are the focuses for 2022 bringing kinesis into you know as a monetary system into the world um as as a platform that people can really use sound money um in their everyday life now one of the questions that i know everybody’s going
To ask is this is a great platform to buy gold and silver and crypto but with gold and silver you mentioned that you guys can store it in your vault now if i was to buy some gold and silver could i actually have that gold and silver delivered to my home if i chose not to have it stored in your vault certainly in fact um interesting point with that would be
That if you were to go and buy 100 grams of gold with kinesis and then redeem 100 grams of gold what we would do is we’d process it straight from our vault to your door using fedex or ups or whatever wow um because of the way our pricing is delivered right the way we price our gold and i’m sure i think there’s a question coming up about that um we’re able
To deliver that cheaper to you than you going into a bullion store so we’re actually not only a great place to hold gold but we are one of the cheapest places in the world and i’ll check daily against all the majors when you’re talking about an aggregated price of gold and silver with our spread um the actual price of the the spot price on our physical is
Comparatively is one of the cheapest in the world it may fluctuate in and out by sense um and that’s with the leader um any other contender that comes in you know you’re talking 40 50 bucks difference in spots so we have this already well priced metal um and then when you go to redeem it it’s cheaper to get it delivered than it is to literally walk in a shop
So yes and yes um you can definitely buy it and get it you know redeem it and get it delivered cheaply fantastic now if kinesis money were to compare itself to its competitors in this sector what would you say sets you guys apart oh man you know we aren’t you know there are there is there’s some gold tokens out there for sure um erc20 based um some that
Are not erc 20 based really what’s happening is they’re taking their business and they’re creating either a debit card to it where there is an expensive trade and clunky process going in the background and or they’re bringing gold ownership onto the blockchain um without really there being a utility to it um i don’t want to just hold my gold and be able
To see it on the blockchain i want to be able to interact with it send it earn from it and all of that type of thing so it really differentiates kinesis from anyone else in the world apart from us being the most traded gold token on planet earth um with over 10 billion dollars done this year so far in trade volume um what really drives us apart from the
Rest is that you can in real time interact with your precious metals spend it send it trade it right get it get it and then earn from it a yield based on a global pool of transactions a lot of people do like cashback or rebate models that’s not how kinesis works our blockchain and our yield engine takes into account the whole entire global transaction volume
Whether it’s going on in indonesia africa or wherever right and it calculates the entire revenue pool allocates it and then proportionally distributes it to you automatically every single month based on a multitude of participation points you can do with us so wow holder’s yield pays you for holding a mentorship pays you for minting a referrershield pays you
For referring a velocity yield pays you for spending and it’s all based on our revenue which means the more we grow as a company the more you get um and the figures which um i about to release uh officially so i would say keep an eye on our news release at kinesis.money on the website um because we’re about to release the annual figures the the annual yield
Percentages and they’re exceptional they outperform a lot of funds so it works it’s been proven um and that’s really what sets us apart from our competitors if we could call them competitors that’s very impressive can you explain to the viewer how you guys get the price on the market for gold and silver purchases sure so i mentioned that before abx and what
Was interesting about abx is a lot of physical metal is you know based on paper market prices and what the abx did was it took a physical metal across a multitude of vaults priced around the world and our exchange takes all the pricing from switzerland and new york and sydney and dubai and all of our centers we’ve got 12 volts in nine countries we’re about
To release another vault for the latam region which is exciting piece of news you can also keep your eye out for this next couple of days um and then what it does is it aggregates the pricing and our engine gives you the best pricing so that pricing is based off of you know your london bullion markets but then we’re aggregating it against all of our vaults
And then we drive our own price and it’s really based on all of the countries aggregated and we get the best price and that’s happening in real time so if switzerland is uh you know uh you know a couple of percentage cheaper base points cheaper than say new york right now our engine will flick you to the right location um and that pricing then comes through
