Good day subscribers thank you so much for joining me today i am jeremy this is the financial education channel and today we’re doing a little education on how i make four thousand dollars per month from youtube and this is just from youtube ads that are shown on the channel this doesn’t include book sales related to the channel this does include affiliate links
Amazon affiliate links this doesn’t include any of that guys i’m going to show you the actual numbers behind this channel how much money we make and i think the biggest reason i want to do this not just for like full disclosure so everybody knows like how much money i make on youtube really i want to do it for motivational purposes and so you guys can understand
Patience like one of the biggest things i see that people lack is patient they want to give up on something so fast they want to give up on it so soon and i could have potentially given up on this whole youtube thing a long time ago guys so let’s look at these numbers first off so last month july 1st through july 31st i mean four thousand seventy four dollars in
91 cents from this channel now how youtubers get paid is basically anytime somebody watches 30 seconds of an ad then you get paid or if they watch a full ad if it’s like a six second bumper ad or a 15-second ad and they watch the entirety of that little ad then we get paid for that if they click off right away they skip the ad right away we don’t get paid for that
Also if somebody clicks on like a ad that’s on the sidebar of the computer your ipad or phone or whatever then we also get paid for that but we don’t get paid based upon views it’s just the more views you get in general generally speaking you’re going to make more more money because more and more ads will be shown all those kinds of things my ad rates i get on
This channel are extremely high compared to most people what most people get on youtube and that’s because my audience is mostly older like the majority of my audience is over twenty-five years old and the majority of my audience is in categories that are very high ad rate type act categories where business stock market related things like that guys so what i get
For views and whatnot like most people wouldn’t ever dream to make as much money as i make based upon the amount of views i get now let’s go back here july 1st 2016 through july 31st 2016 i made seven dollars and 53 cents from youtube seven dollars and 53 cents i had been on – for over seven months at that time posting a video every single day and i was making
Seven dollars and 53 cents guys we’re going to come back to that in just a minute and we’re going to talk about that now as far as the views are we got this past month we got almost 600,000 views as past month so definitely the best month ever as far as use no viral videos or anything just been consistently building we gained about almost 9,000 new subscribers
Or nine thousand subscribers in total that number there is basically what you gain per day versus how many subscribers unsubscribe so net net we gained almost nine thousand watch time is ridiculous i mean but this is the number of blows me away almost four million watch time meant for the month of july we had guys absolutely incredible that’s just insane number
There now let’s go back and let’s talk about this seven dollars and 53 cents first off before i talk about that i just want to say it’s a blessing that i could make a living to support myself my three-year-old son my pregnant wife who’s going to give birth to our next baby here within the next couple months it’s a blessing that i can make a living just off youtube
Ads that are shown on my channel if you took away the book sales if you took away a amazon affiliate marketing from me if you took away my entire real estate business my photography videography real estate business you took all that money away i would still be able to live a decent lifestyle like obviously i’m not to be balling out or something that’s what if i’m
Making four thousand dollars per month i’m making around fifty k here right so that’s still enough to support myself in my family it’s we’re not falling out of control we live out here in las vegas where it’s cheap to live but we still would be good enough you know good well enough off i guess you say to make a living and that’s a blessing when you can do something
That inspires yourself like i do which is teaching basically teaching people all the things i’ve been successful at and not successful at teaching to be people about the stock market entrepreneur ship personal finance inspiring people like when you get to make a living from that like that is a beautiful thing in itself so i am super blessed that i’m even in this
Position but let’s go back there so remember that that we talked about july 1st 2016 through july 31st 2016 7 dollars and 53 cents i posted a video pretty much every single day so let’s say each video probably took me about three hours of an investor time right between the video prep and recording it then editing it then posting it all that stuff probably about
Three hours if you take that three hours per day times 31 days it’s 93 hours that month i spent on this youtube channel right you divide that number by seven dollars and fifty three cents and i basically made eight cents per hour let me repeat that i made eight cents per hour of time invested there’s nowhere in the world where somebody makes eight cents an hour
No where like you can go to china you can go to foxconn heck those people are fallin out on me they’re making like a dollar two dollars an hour i’m making eight cents an hour from my time invest in youtube at that particular time and i’ve been on youtube for seven months guys seven months making eight cents an hour in indonesia i don’t care in india anybody’s
Making more than eight cents per hour have a factory job or something like knit and clothes or whatever right i was making eight cents per hour the thing that differentiates me versus most people is i have the patience to stick with something first off i loved what i was doing i love making videos like it’s my favorite thing like over the real-estate business over
Writing books over anything i like making these videos on youtube i inspires myself by inspiring other people that’s the that’s the phenomenal thing but at the same time i realize you know what are we going to be potentially making a year from now i didn’t think it would ever be the point where we’re making more than four thousand dollars i mean we made more than
Four thousand dollars from ads on a horrible ad month i mean july’s garbage at ad rates you get compared to like october november december when ad rates are super high right we still clear 4k i had no clue was going to be like that right but i still did the patience to keep pushing keep pushing when most people would have given up they would have said screw this
Man i’m making eight cents an hour are you freaking kidding me i can be making hundreds time not working the drive-through a taco bell like that’s how most people think and i have the patience to keep pushing and that is what differentiates successful people from unsuccessful people successful people can realize there’s something bigger out there there’s a bigger
Opportunity in to keep crocheting keep pushing on that opportunity and i kept pushing and now look at where we’re at and this isn’t even this is nothing wait till where we’re at in july 2020 wait the law we’re doing july 2020 guys it’s going to be a whole different ballgame by that time i have the patience the understanding that things take time rome wasn’t built
Overnight and most people out there just have a short-term mind they just think like short-term like litter their mind is like completely wired differently than my mind i can’t think long term and how something will benefit me long term whether it’s a stock market investment where other people are like judging me or judging anybody by a short term stock move like
Oh my gosh you invested michael kors you’re a genius it went up 20% oh my gosh you’re the greatest things and jesus on earth like you know that’s how people think or or oh my gosh this stock you invested in went down is so much your video the worst investor ever like people just judge off short-term i judge off long-term things i look from a long-term perspective i
Look out and that was differentiates me between the majority of people out there and at the end of the day you know most unsuccessful people they just have short term minds they just want the money now if i told somebody that had a short-term mindset i can give you five thousand dollars now or twenty five thousand dollars a year from now the majority of people out
There would take that five thousand dollars now instead of the twenty five thousand a year from now business because oh i need to pay bills or i need to do this or they would just a fight however they want to justify or all kit invest that yeah sure you’re going to invest it oh yeah and i’ll make some how five times the money and get to twenty five thousand yacht
Bs man they would justify however they could just so they can get the short term money rather than getting that twenty five thousand a year from now nats how people think so when you are doing something in life don’t ever come to me and look me in my eyes and tell me that you’re giving up on something because you spent three weeks doing it you spend six months doing
It you spent a year doing it i was on here seven months already making eight cents an hour eight cents an hour for my time invested into this guy’s eight cents an hour think about that think about that when you’re trying to go out there and achieve something don’t come to me and say you know i’ve been at this for you know a small amount of time you’ve been out
For three years and you’ve been trying to adapt strategy and get better and get better maybe it’s time to move on but if you’ve been at it for three months and you haven’t even changed strategy and you’re just doing the same thing over and over don’t come to me and complain at the end of the day you got a lot of work to still put in it takes a long time to build
