How’s it going everybody this is beat the bush today i got my dollar shave club subscription i changed it to the forex one which is the middle tier and i’m gonna review this today and show you what’s in it dollar shave club is a low-cost razor blade subscription service you can see over here it’s really really low cost they have three tiers the one dollar one it
Because it’s so low they have the charge shipping and then the middle tier it’s six dollars a month and then the highest here nine dollars a month now you can actually choose to have it shipped to you every single month or you can skip months so you can kind of slow it down to every two months one thing i didn’t know when i started this club is that they actually
Charge tax on the subscription so for this low tier it would be the tax on the one dollar on this middle tier derby tax on the six dollar it’s like fifty some cents depending on your state i assume these different tiers are is just basically different number of blades the lowest one is two blades four blades and the highest one is six blades plus one more on the
Edge you know so you can flip it around and just kind of shave something else with that edge this lowest here one i already have this one and the head swivels 45 degrees so if the blade is long this way it can shave this way so you can contour your face now this one is supposed to swivel 90 degrees and i don’t quite know what the highest tier one does because i
Don’t have that one yet so now let me just open up the package and show you guys what’s inside here’s one side of the package they always try to help sell you on these hair clay gel or shaving cream or something they range from six dollars nine dollars or twelve dollars and you can add it to your package but to me those sounds extremely expensive so i never add
Those and i would recommend to not add those because it’s just gonna make your low cost shaver into something really high cost here’s the other side shipping label let’s just open it so over here the shaver let’s take it out of this thing before this was shipped they sent an email out asking if you want samples so i just chose this hair clay so this is what’s free
And it comes with this package and every time you get one of these packages they always try to say something witty on here raw good for a diet bad idea for your face alright i guess it’ll be fun if your job is to make up these quotes at this company i’ll be pretty interesting this one comes with four blades they tell you to change it every week it looks pretty good
Shove it in there take it out just like any other one and they did say it was supposed to pivot 90 degrees well is this 90 degrees to you if you pivot it it looks like a little less than the 45 degree in the twin but i don’t really care about if it pivots 90 degrees or not this is good enough for me i guess and then it comes with this bathroom reading minute things
As various fun things to read about i like this pamphlet thing they send out with this and also a flyer for this hair clay thing so here’s the shaver itself close up with a rubbery grip here i guess you can also hold it you know this way or like kinda like this this white strip here is just a rubber piece and then this orange thing is a lubricating strip if i push
It all the way in it’s about 45 degrees so let me just try out this forex razor and see how it is my mustache doesn’t go out that fast but and i don’t really need a mirror to do the shaving generally it’s good to shape after a shower then your beard or mustache gets a little softer and it’s kind of easier to shave ease of use wise this is just as easy to use as the
2x version i don’t see it as you know twice as fast just because it has four blades if you have a lot more beard it might be faster i don’t know let me just wash this off first so this is not bad because you get the shaving handle four blades all this for six dollars plus tax six fifty something if you’re interested in getting a subscription just like i did don’t
